Since the early part of 1998, your Self Family Newsletter, has been sponsoring, promoting, and hosting Self Family Chat rooms. At first we were on AOL only, and some of you were excluded, but now the whole world wide web can join in with us on these bi-weekly sessions. Join in with dozens of your cousins to discuss your Self Family, and check in often to see when and where a Chat is scheduled.

Chats are held on Saturday nights starting at 10:00 PM EST. Notices of the Chats and topics are emailed out via the Self-Family email program. Sign up below to insure you are notified of upcoming chats and other good family information.

General Chat Room Information

Most chat sessions last 1 - 1 1/2 hours in duration and are very casual as all of the group are very friendly. Even if you're not talkative, show up anyway and watch the goings-on, you'll get involved eventually. Membership in the Self Family Newsletter is not required at any of these sites, as our sole purpose, since 1982, is to share information and consolidate research efforts. An e-mail reminder is sent out on the Thursday prior to those interested in being placed on this list.
